Its Halloween time again!!

I recently bought these cool beads from Carrie at CEM Lampwork. I just had to make something in time for Halloween. Even though here in Australia it is not seen as a tradition celebrated ...i being a pagan, love to celebrate our dead!! And well i also love witches, orange and black and all things spooky!!!!

Pretties for Mum

Here is a pretty set of earrings i made for my Mum to go with a new outfit. The lampworked beads are made by Sylvie Landsdowne :)

Amber for Mum

When Mum visited in the month of September, she had a request of an amber choker. here is what i did. I used a magnectic clasp and a nice simple focal bead.

Tea For Two Set

I whipped these up quickly this afternoon, as i wanted to "make" something and finish it in a flash....as i feel i have not achieved anything in my crafty adventures of late...too much of real life annoying me! I bought this lampworked set years ago back in 2004. It was the lampwork artist's first attempt at sculptural beads and its a really cute set. At the time i was a big tea drinker, after being pregnant for three times....now i am back to my terrible ways of waaaaay too much coffee and no tea. Well this little cutie will be a reminder to me of those tea sipping days and my Mum who is a tea drinker through and through!

This set comprises of a brooch and 2 sets of earrings.

Lucinda :)

I am a huge fan of Inspiration Embroidery magazine and here is another design featured in these beautiful mags. Its Lucinda the Cat and this one was made for my Rhiannon. My next animal is a Dog for Lilly...so stay tuned for that one....

There are some really beautiful animals designed by Elina Akselrod. There is even a cute monkey that i would love to do one day.......

Eyeball Earrings and more.....

I recently participated in a swap at Ravelry ( a knitting/crocheting web community). As i am not a knitter or crocheter i went in a group called The Odd Duck Swap group :) The theme for the swap was Fantasy Creatures and my spoilee liked Fairies, Loch Ness Monster, Zombies and Dragons. Here are some pictures of what i made, which i really enjoyed doing.
